From the initial inspection to the LP connection, every step was seamless. Rick Jolicoeur Jr. and his crew were consistently punctual, professional, and incredibly friendly. Rick’s communication was top-tier—he responded to every email and call promptly, ensuring all my questions were answered. Truly an exceptional, stress-free experience; I couldn't recommend them more!" - 5/5 — Anonymous I recently had a 14kw standby generator installed by Ideal Electric. The work crew consisted of Rick (owner of the company) and Trace. I could not be happier with the service that I received. A five star rating doesn’t do it justice. I would give 10 if I could!! While tying into the main panel Rick noticed that the panel needed quite a bit of attention so he basically re-wired the entire panel. He also noticed that my sub-panel was in worse condition than my main panel and noticed that I had a new panel staged that I had planned on installing in the near future. Rick asked Trace to install the new sub-panel and did not charge me. The installation required approximately 120’ of cables to be run between the generator and the transfer switch through my partially finished basement and the work was done with such care that you can barely notice that they had installed it. After the installation was completed then instructed me how to run and maintain my new equipment. I would like to thank Ideal Electric so much and would HIGHLY recommend them. I was billed $800.00 for three outlets being added in a bedroom and one in my kitchen for a microwave. I spoke with the owner and l was told that l did not ask the amount of the service. My opinion .. it was an example of taking advantage of a female customer. I would not recommend this company. - 1/5 — Anonymous It never went to far. Someone from Ideal came down. Took my info and what kind of electrical work I needed. 5 days later I had to call back to get my estimate sent to me. I was happy with the price so I responded but unfortunately no response back. I called their office and asked if they were an insured company. I just moved to the area. Then my call was transferred to the owner to ask for proof of insurance before the work was performed. The owner gave me an attitude and was hostile towards me. He said he would send a copy of their insurance Certificate and never sent it. I guess the job was too small for myself to get any respect from Ideal. That's okay I went with someone else.
