Our furnace went out during the coldest stretch of January. It was incredibly stressful. We spent a long weekend using portable electric heaters, calling company after company, being put on lists, and struggling to find anyone who could come out. It was nerve-racking. When someone finally came to look at it, parts were no longer being manufactured due to the age of the furnace. The team at Home Heating truly went above and beyond — they checked multiple parts houses and tried everything they could before confirming replacement was the best option. We never felt like they jumped straight to “sell mode.” They genuinely tried to fix it first. Once we moved forward with replacement, their team was outstanding. They arrived on time, were courteous and professional, clearly explained the process and timeline, and treated our home with care. They removed a door to bring the new units in and laid down protective coverings on our carpet and stairs. The installation itself was impressive. They raised both the furnace and hot water heater off the ground for long-term protection, re-piped everything cleanly, added new shut-off valves, and made sure everything was done right. When they finished, the space was spotless. After such a stressful situation, working with a team that was responsive, thorough, and professional made all the difference. Paul and Brad arrived on time, were very cordial, and worked efficiently while cleaning out all of my air ducts. They took the time to explain what they were doing and gave me helpful tips on how to properly replace and maintain my air filters. I really appreciated their patience, they never seemed annoyed when I asked questions and made sure I understood everything. Professional, knowledgeable, and respectful throughout the entire visit.
