For this job, we had a 50 year roof installed, skylights replaced and attic fans removed. Sales presentation, recommendation, and selection went well and were helpful. We had a problem with their billing department. We mistakenly used a personal credit card for the down payment when we wanted to use a business credit card, but they alternated between refusing to make that change, or ignoring us. Installation was slated to be about 5 weeks out. Communication from the installation side left a lot to be desired. It went something like ‘when the material shows up, then we’ll be installing soon after that’. They need to be more proactive in keeping the customer up-to-date, maybe a weekly call or text. The 50 year warranty requires them to submit the information because it asks for a lot of technical and supply information. It has to be done within 60 days. A buyer should keep on top of them to make sure it gets done, otherwise no extended warranty. Once the installation started, it went well. Sales guy was onsite and provided pictures of progress as we had asked. Some attached. If you want photo documentation provided to you for insurance, ask. Building surround was covered to protect plants and yard. We are happy with the final product. The path to it needs work.
