I’ve been getting my images printed by GMC for a number of years now, and each one has come out nicely and at a very reasonable price. I had my most recent one shipped to my office out of state, and unfortunately the USPS messed up the delivery and it eventually got returned to GMC. However, without even being requested, they re-printed my photo (as the first one had sustained damage in transit) and shipped it to my house at no extra charge. I am a serious amateur photographer having 30+ years experience taking pictures around the world. I plaque mount some of my photos using a commercial grade mounting processes. The museum archival U/V coatings I use darkens the photographs. GMC's skilled printers are really good at following my requests to individual lighten the photos printed following my exact criteria. This last batch Jay printed for me was perfect! The photographs are now hanging on the wall in my gallery! - 3/5 — Anonymous I want to support local businesses, especially camera shops which are few. However despite having good experiences in the past, the past four or five rolls I've gotten developed by Green Mountain Camera have been sloppy. I've had numerous frames where they cut off the edges when dividing into strips and the strips have been in random orders requiring sorting after the fact. Both demonstrate a lack of care and respect for the images and the customer. I've also had one roll show light leakage with sprocket imprints on some of the frames but that could have been a camera issue despite only happening on one roll. I don't know what to say. Maybe I've just been unlucky recently, but I no longer trust this lab to give my negatives the care they deserve.
