Robert easily figured it out and didn't make us feel stupid like we should have known... He just told us and moved on (also did not charge us for our own nonsense). The fact that a few months later I still had it in my mind to give them a positive review should tell you a lot about the quality of their work. We had Robert W. and Josh W. help us out with our new house in Shrewsbury. It's an old house with a history of dubious DIY-inclined owners, so even basic things like swapping outlets needed pros. Robert and Josh were professional, good natured and efficient in setting up some new lighting, transitioning some old two prongs to three, and reviewing some of the more questionable decisions of past folks. They found air spliced cables hidden in our insulation and set those up to be safe, and highlighted some future things that we should consider having sorted out. I should also note that the whole house is lathe and plaster and they were minimally invasive in their installs such that only minor patching was needed. My power kept shutting off and i contacted nationalgrid to check the new meter. I was informed from the technician that I had some corrosion inside the meter box which would not allow a good connection. Contacted Giroux at 9am this morning and by noon the issue was corrected.
