Our AC was failing for about a year and then during the heat of this summer, our furnace blower motor fried. Genesis technicians came out and confirmed our biggest fear, after 20+ years of a known furnace that had a major recall (which I verified), we were in the market for an entirely new HVAC system. They were gracious enough to install a temporary blower fan while knowingly getting multiple bids for the scope of work. We received multiple bids from independent contractors, smaller companies and even from very large-name companies (you see the commercials) in the Twin Cities. In the end, I would choose Genesis above anyone else! Aside from the competitive bid we received, their customer service, support and ability to share product knowledge is superior. From start to finish, I felt that they understood our needs, didn't oversell products and gained my confidence to select them. When they arrived, they were courteous, professional and treated our home with respect. Throughout the course of the day, they checked in with me about various decisions, such as placement of our bigger AC condenser unit. I had a dying shrub that they even removed and hauled away so I could have the unit placed in my preferred position. After completing the install, they walked me through every aspect of the operation, and I even gained functionality with this new system to control our whole house humidifier through the thermostat (Ecobee Pro). The installation is so clean and looks amazing. We went with the Carrier Performance series. Both the furnace blower motor and outside unit are SIGNIFICANTLY quieter than our previous HVAC system. I left an email with Genesis Heating and AC at 7:00am Monday. They called me before 8am and had Tech at my house by 9:15.
