Cory, the estimator whom we first met was very personable and knowledgable answered our questions in an honest way and I didn't feel like we were dealing with a "salesman". They gave us a fair price. The people at the office whom I interacted with a couple of times were professional, cheerful, and thorough. I was very impressed by the crew who installed the system (sorry I didn't catch all their names) but Dylan and Brandon and the electricians were punctual, friendly and professional, respectful of the property and tidy, and efficient with their time. They communicated well and kept me informed as the installation progressed. They all seemed genuinely happy at their jobs and enjoyed working together, too. Just an overall great experience. Starting with the estimate through completion the customer service was exceptional. They arrived timely and took care and caution in and around our home. The install was done well and all areas were left clean. Once completed, they took time to go over every aspect of our new equipment including the use of the thermostat. We did have other estimates several months ago, but a friend had mentioned they were happy with G&G, so we decided to go with them and felt the price was reasonable. The only problem I struggled with was when you call G&G you are getting an AI Assistant. I found it to be time consuming and was frustrated with the process. I had to go through way too many levels of questioning before I could get to a place I needed to be and once there I’d end up having to be routing to a real person anyway. Such a waste of time. I tried to reschedule our install and had to make 3 calls, as I was disconnected with each one. My suggestion would be to ask for a live person from the get go and save yourself the time. After the install, we ran into several issues—most notably, the upstairs was not cooling properly. When I called them back out, they determined the house needed zoning. That was an additional cost, but we went ahead and had the zoning installed. A couple of months later, issues showed up with the heating and how the zones were functioning. When I contacted them again, they didn’t just come out to do the bare minimum or only what I was specifically asking for. Instead, they took the time to thoroughly diagnose everything. They ended up uncovering additional thermostat-related issues and could have easily ignored them but they didn’t. Their techs were at my house for nearly seven hours troubleshooting, testing, and making sure the system worked correctly. Five months after the original install, they still took full ownership and responsibility for their workmanship at a level I’ve honestly never seen from any service company before. Because of that, I fully recommend G&G. Are they the cheapest?
