Greg from Front Range Plumbing came to our home, performed a smoke test to identify the leak, and was somehow able to use his x-ray vision to identify where the leak was occurring. There was an old lead pipe that had been taped shut and was leaking sewage gas into our walls, which was then sucked into our AC intake. He cut a minor hole into our drywall (it was required to address the issue), capped the pipe, and the smell was resolved! We haven't had the smell occur once since he came.
