It was not a PG&E issue. I called Fisher and --actually-- got not a recorded menu but a real person who immediately put me on the booking list for that very day. John (Jonathan) was here in a few hours, went to the breaker box, sized up the situation quickly and definitively, and explained what needed to be done. He and Aaron were here early both days of work and installed a new breaker box and outside electrical panel very efficiently and neatly. John also advised me of options for the future if needed. They double-checked and tested everything, attended to every detail. The charges were very much reasonable for such extensive work.
