But when they put in a thermostat less then 2 years ago & it already broke… it’s ridiculous that only the thermostat is covered under warranty. The guy was in our house & changed the part in less then 5 minutes. But it cost $191 for those 5 minutes. Ridiculous. They charge $100 an hour of which his first hour was just drive time & then he got an additional $40 for gas. The pricing is a little extreme, if he spent an hour plus actually working I would understand, but if a part they put in is under warranty, there should be a different pricing system. We definitely learned our lesson, & next time will just go through whirlpool & do it ourselves.
