The process is more complicated than one might think, and involves not only major electrical work, but coordination with the natural gas provider, a gas contractor, a surveyor, and multiple city permits and inspectors. ETS coordinated everything. There were some delays, but those were caused by the availability of the other contractors. When Tiger Arnold told us he would be here, he was here We also had him install some outdoor lighting and some security lights, and they function perfectly. As for the generator, it just had its first live trial. We heard a loud noise that turned out to be a power pole transformer blowing up. The entire neighborhood went dark, except for our house. Within 5 seconds of the power going off, the generator ETS installed for us turned on automatically, and our power was restored. Air conditioning, lights, refrigerator and freezer, television, internet...all ran as though the utility company was still providing electricity. And when the power was restored 90 minutes later, the generator shut off, just as it was supposed to.
