Of four companies that sent a rep to visit -- two provided dubious estimates sight unseen -- Emory was the last I met with, but quickest, most straightforward, and least expensive. No arm twisting, no sales pitch, just a quick 10-minute conversation, an eyeball estimate and a promise to deliver a formal quote by the following morning. I received a quote that night within 3% of the original estimate, and less than half of the highest quote I'd received, but I had a few questions that I emailed late that night. Woke up the next morning, checked to find a response answering all my questions, and accepted the bid. Emory's plumbers arrived the following day while I was at work. I drove home, opened the garage and was surprised to find the whole job done as promised, but in just a few hours in my absence. My clothes washer that drains into a large laundry tub was starting to over flow with even the smallest load of clothes. Technician, Bardin, was dispatched. He arrived in the window of time that was promised. He was very familiar with the washer and experimented with the rinse and spin cycle. The mainline was clogged at 80 feet with grease. The grease was removed and he ran the washer multiple times to make sure it was working correctly. Before he left, he answered my questions about replacing the kitchen faucet. I purchased a Moen faucet and sprayer from Home Depot and Bardin came out the next week and replaced the old faucet. I wanted to have the sprayer hose long enough to be able to wash my grand dogs in the sink when they visit.
