I’ve been going to Rita for about 4-5 months now and I am definitely seeing a difference in how slow the hair is growing back compared to when I used to get waxes. The texture of the hair has definitely changed from when I first started and we are also able to get more done in our sessions compared to when I first started. I don’t feel on my face as much as I used to so the confidence is definitely starting to come back. Thank you so much for helping me on this journey.

I have been seeing Ritta for electrolysis for several months now. She is meticulous and incredibly professional with her work. For a procedure that is, by nature, uncomfortable, she works quickly to ensure the least amount of discomfort. I recommend her to all of my own patients that are looking for permanent hair removal. Her machine is most recent technology and the results happen quickly which is definitely a plus. She has a great sense of humor that immediately makes you feel at ease. So glad I found her!

I am posting this out of kindness and a sense of duty after seeing the recent poor reviews. I had a handful of treatments from Ritta some time ago, and she was excellent at her craft. I believe there is a medical, neurological event going on (re behavior mentioned in the recent reviews). Ritta, you deserve empathy for whatever it is you are going through! I hope you get the medical care you deserve ASAP and can come back swinging at your craft. I’ll take this down if you request it. I hope things get better soon ♥️

My wife had a concerning experience with Rita at Electric Beauty on 9-18-25 and was scared to leave a review, however I'm not. I don’t want to be insensitive but I believe Rita was having some kind of a mental issue or break down. She was literally barking like a dog and biting in the air at things that weren't there. I am NOT joking. I’m not a doctor but it seemed to us she was having some kind of schizophrenic episode or on LSD. They had the nerve to charge my wife for a whole hour when she left after 5 mins of what she witnessed. Rita was talking to herself the whole appointment as though she was having a conversation with someone but it was very incoherent, disorganized talking and then barking and biting like an animal. Ashley tried to ignore it but then several times she would move back and quickly swat at her arm as though something was on it. Given that she is working on skin, it’s something we can’t overlook as I don’t know if she’s on hallucinations or hardcore drugs. My wife asked to use the restroom, grabbed her purse & told the front desk. She was told don't worry about it, Rita is just having a mental episode. Ashley said I'm not going back in there and left this appointment with quite a few bumps for a longer period of time then previous treatments at another place. It’s just very concerning as I believe Rita is having a mental health crisis & nobody there cares at all to acknowledge the problem and acts like it's normal and no big deal. Ashley won’t be going back as her and I are concerned about her experience still to this day. She now goes to man in Lakeland who charges less and isn't crazy. Avoid this place / Lady if your smart...

The treatment itself seems to work, but she displays disturbing behavior. She seems to have untreated psychological issues wherein she will talk to herself or to people who aren't in the room, will get very agitated, starts to flail her arms at times. She even went as far as to whisper under her breath she will break every bone in my body. I, personally, didn't feel safe around her anymore as her behavior is very unhinged at times. You can even witness it for yourself in her replies to negative reviews lol

## FAQ
**Q: What is electrolysis for permanent hair removal at Electric Beauty in Tampa?**
A: Electrolysis at Electric Beauty involves inserting a very fine probe into the hair follicle to destroy the growth center with chemical or heat energy from modern devices, removing individual hairs from the face or body for permanent results. This method targets only the germ cells, protecting the skin and preventing new hair growth. Most areas of the body can be treated, with generally no permanent side effects, though temporary slight reddening may occur.

**Q: How does the Apilus xCell Pur technology work for electrolysis at Electric Beauty?**
A: The Apilus xCell Pur is a state-of-the-art computerized electrolysis machine used at Electric Beauty that limits destruction within the hair follicle to target only germ cells, ensuring more efficient, rapid, and comfortable permanent hair removal. It provides professional electrologists with pinpoint precision through powerful circuits and stable currents for optimal settings. This patented technology delivers proven effectiveness, used in thousands of centers worldwide for treating facial and body hair.

**Q: How many electrolysis treatments are needed for permanent hair removal in Tampa at Electric Beauty?**
A: The number of electrolysis sessions at Electric Beauty varies by individual factors like heredity and hormone levels, but most clients return weekly or every other week until the area is cleared. Each treatment lasts from 15 minutes to the desired time, and once the series is complete, the unwanted hair is gone forever. Factors such as drugs, illnesses, or temporary hair removal methods can influence hair growth, making electrolysis the ideal permanent solution.

**Q: Is electrolysis painful at Electric Beauty, and what myths should I know about it?**
A: At Electric Beauty, modern electrolysis methods using Apilus technology cause minimal pain for most people, though some discomfort may occur, and pain management options can be discussed with your electrologist. A common myth is that electrolysis is very painful, but today's techniques are gentle and effective. Another myth is that hair can regrow after treatment; however, treated hairs grow back weaker initially and not at all after subsequent sessions, as electrolysis is the only FDA-approved permanent method.

**Q: What makes electrolysis better than laser hair removal at Electric Beauty in Tampa?**
A: Electrolysis at Electric Beauty provides 100% permanent hair removal by destroying the hair follicle's growth center, unlike laser which only reduces hair and requires maintenance treatments. It has fewer risks and side effects, working for any skin type, color, hair type, or color, making it versatile for all clients. Laser is not permanent and less effective for fine or light hair, while electrolysis ensures no regrowth once completed.

**Q: Does Electric Beauty offer electrolysis services for transgender clients in Tampa?**
A: Electric Beauty welcomes the LGBTQ community, with Ritta, the certified professional electrologist, having extensive experience in transgender permanent hair removal in Tampa. As a Florida state licensed and nationally board certified CPE, Ritta provides tailored electrolysis treatments for facial and body hair. This inclusive approach ensures comfortable and effective permanent results using advanced Apilus technology.

**Q: What is the pricing and cancellation policy for electrolysis at Electric Beauty?**
A: Electrolysis pricing at Electric Beauty starts at $50 for 15 minutes, up to $250 for 2 hours, with complimentary consultations available in Tampa. Sessions are scheduled based on your needs, from 15 minutes to longer durations. A 24-hour cancellation notice is required, with fees of $25 for under an hour and $50 per hour of scheduled time.

**Q: What are Ritta's qualifications for electrolysis services at Electric Beauty in Tampa?**
A: Ritta at Electric Beauty is Florida state licensed, nationally board certified, and holds CPE Certified Professional Electrologist certification, ensuring high standards in permanent hair removal. She specializes in using the Apilus xCell Pur for precise, comfortable treatments suitable for various clients, including the LGBTQ community. With extensive experience in Tampa, Ritta provides effective electrolysis for unwanted hair caused by heredity, hormones, or other factors.
