I am thankful that he was kind enough to stay and walk me through the repair. I have a simple two hour job. 1st bit was $400? 2nd bid was $250. I would have gone with #2 but I already had Drains R Us coming out so I took s day off and waited. They showed up and wanted $850!!! Got kinda rude and testy when I said no and claimed that the other guys were not plumbers. Said he gets $850 for a two hour job because he is a real plumber. Totally wasted a good work day. The company tat came out on a Saturday to put in a bit is coming this afternoon since it’s such a “quick and easy job”. Very professional, family owned, and gave a FREE estimate before ever starting work. He made sure he recreated our on again, off again problem with our toilet too. Once he had an idea of what was wrong, he gave us the estimate of best case, worst case. He then tried multiple times to fix the problem rather than immediately taking our toilet off to snake the drain. That saved us money and time which we really appreciated.
