I took my 92 Chevy 1500 today to have defroster worked on. When Jimmy got there he told me he couldn’t work on it because they didn’t work on anything under 1996 because it’s extremely hard to get parts for them. He wasn’t rude at all and I understood why. I’ve seen a few people giving Dans a bad review if they couldn’t work on their vehicle. If they can work on it they will, if not then there is a reason why. And it was my fault because I never called to ask about it first. They called me at 8am with only a $25 diagnosis. Said what was wrong and how much it would cost to repair. Told me I could get a second opinion. I didn't need one. They have been in the same location for over 50 years. That speaks to their professionalism and respect for their customers. Parking lot was full of vehicles needing repairs. My truck was ready by 1pm the same day for less than half what the dealerships are charging. I asked how were you able to repair 18 vehicles in one day and with a 1 year warranty.
