Craig was really responsive, inspired our confidence in his ability to fix the problem, talked us through doing a little investigation and sending pictures, got out to our house quickly and really uncovered the issue. He identified a completely rotted out vent pipe in the wall and other pipes leading to the drain that needed replacing. Craig's Plumbing got the J.O.B. done in just a couple of days, including breaking through the concrete foundation (and preserving the existing tiles for re-installation!), replacing the offending components, and pouring new concrete. He even texted me later that night to confirm that we couldn't smell anything anymore. Everything looks terrific and there is NO MORE ODOR! He was straight up, no nonsense, and ran a clean job. He was also able to make a recommendation for someone to patch up the drywall and reinstall the tiles. I would absolutely call Craig's Plumbing again for any major issue at our house. *UPDATE: If you had any questions about Craig's character, let me say that after we had a handyman fix the drywall and reinstall the toilet, the smell returned (although not as strongly). When I called Craig he recommended the brand and model of a new toilet for us to buy and then he drove all the way back out to our house early on a Saturday morning to install it himself for no charge. So grateful for his commitment to solving our problem and happy to say the smell is gone once and for all due to Craig's diligence and follow through! This is someone you can trust. - 5/5 — Anonymous I called Craig because we had a leak under the bathroom sink and there was a very nasty smell coming from the sink every time we wash our hands. He came to give us an estimate within 30 minutes of initial contact. Once here, I also asked him to take a look at the corroded pipes under our kitchen sink. Our house is 103 years old so we don't even know when those pipes were installed, but they were in very bad shape. Craig gave me an estimate to replace the plumbing under both sinks and we set a date and time to do the job. He not only arrived early to the appointment, but was kind enough to show me what materials he would be using to complete the job. He and his partner finished the job in approximatley 1 hour and left everythin clean and in working condition. It's been 3 days and the smell is gone and there are no more leaks! He replaced all water lines with copper at my 5 unit apt building in Westchester with little to no disruption to the tenants and at a fixed price. One of his employees, Alex is a great plumber and he too will call you if he sees a problem while on the job. I had Alex replace a waste line from the second story and he saw it was connected to the downstairs unit and called me to see if I wanted that replaced while the exterior wall was still open at minimal cost!
