Since getting my roof installed, I have discovered different issues. To spare people a long lengthy review I can summarize in photos. However, before I get into that. There are things that will be harder to show in photos. I never would have agreed to put black drip edges when I had white and they installed them and left a 2” overhang on shingles, removed my exhaust vent that leads from my stove, have a couple of leaks from broken boards or lack of caulking, multiple decking boards are broken in my attic, I now see a light by the rafter tails which is where more boards are broken (you can see the wind blowing in areas) and the best one of all they stated in contract they was licensed, bonded in my city and they are not nor did they get the required permit. The photos can speak for themselves on the quality of workmanship. Owens Corning can agree with me as they have sent me instructions on how the shingles were supposed to be installed. As of today, there really hasn't been a solution for this problem. Yes, one of the managers is trying his best to help but so far it has been nothing but empty statements. This is not me being a picky customer. This is simply a poor installation and I just wish there was accountability for it. I will update my review if and when things get resolved. - 5/5 — Anonymous We had an amazing experience with Cox when dealing with a tree falling on our roof and an insurance claim. Through the entire process, everyone we dealt with was helpful, professional and honest. Like everyone, they are human, and when there was a small miscommunication issue due to a new employee, they went above and beyond to make up for it and continue to earn our confidence. Hannah was amazing to work with, and my only complaint was that we didn't get to work with her more. ;) Jose and all of the crew were helpful and easy to work with, and I'd definitely use Cox again. I worked with Pat specifically for almost 6 months to have insurance finally accept the damage and get the roof replaced. He helped me through the many hurdles we have encountered. I’m so grateful for his professionalism and dedication. Our roof looks great! - 5/5 — Anonymous I couldn’t be happier with the way Cox Roofing managed the new roof process. My insurance company was extremely hard to work with and Paul Gemmer and Jon Thomas battled them with me for almost a year. They were extremely knowledgeable on how to navigate the insurance process and it resulted in me getting my insurance to pay for a complete replacement. As soon as we got the green light to replace the roof, they knocked it out in a single day. The roof looks great and I got everything I wanted out of the process. - 5/5 — Anonymous I highly recommend Cox Roofing. Jose was wonderful to work with. Everyone works w. Integrity. Initially I was hiring for gutter replacement, but my roof was punctured by a tree a few weeks later so they did everything. Jose was very knowledgeable & caring. He answered every question and I had a lot of them! He made sure I received the correct type of roof for my house based on the level of pitch. He explained the steps/process I would be going through w different staff members as they worked w my insurance co.. Each person was kind & efficient. When doing my roof they worked morning til dark. One man went above the call of duty. The area around fireplace was being difficult. With it black out, he took up lights & worked alone til 9:30 finishing correctly! It was supposed to storm that night & it did! The only things I wish the workers would have done better was pick up after themselves more. And no one told me a large amount of old roofing nails were going in my yard.
