My wife called Clovis Electric, and the owner came out on Sunday afternoon and looked at the issue and took down one alarm that is 14 feet up. Our existing alarms had reached the end of the 10-year life of the batteries and are hard wired into the system. The owner ordered replacements and installed nine new alarms. He provided excellent service and is very knowledgeable. He gave me grief about calling him late even though he advertises as a 24 hour business. Then when I tried to explain I work swing shifts he cut me off and said, "find someone else to do it." Then promptly hung up on me.
