Because they are not listed as an REC certified installer, the company was listed at the bottom of the list (the 7th one) but with a five-star review. We had ordered REC solar panels from Zendo Solar the end of August but they were never shipped, and there was absolutely no communication from them even after attempting to contact them numerous times. Vicente Caro, the owner of Caro Electric LLC, has been very easy to get a hold of and very communicative from the start. Even though we didn’t call him until December 23, he was able to work us in! Rain or shine, he and his crew worked very diligently and got all 26 JA 440 Watt solar panels installed and working on December 31! They were very efficient, did excellent work, and very neat! We would give Caro Electric 10 stars if that were possible and would hire them for any future electrical work in a heart beat. - 5/5 — Anonymous I met Vicente when he was the lead solar installer for a commercial solar company, which was before he established his own company. When we needed to replace our roof and the solar panels (installed in 2002, one of the first residential systems in town) had to be taken down, I commissioned him to do the job. We ended up installing a brand new system after all, because the old one no longer met code. It ended up getting donated to a community garden to power their deep well water pump. Vicente and his crew did a great job with the new system installation. That was in 2019. A couple of years later, I hired Vicente again to do another solar job. And earlier this year, Caro Electric did a relative's system and they did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Yes, they compared quotes.
