Staring with the appraisal, the owner Brian came to the house and gave a great price, his office staff was on top of the whole process, from the permitting, to scheduling start dates and inspections, the communication was always there. I originally gave this company 2 stars and have raised it to 3 stars only because they did come back out. Overall, however, I’m still not satisfied with the experience. After my initial review, the company contacted me and asked me to change it. They reduced the chicken-wire add-on from $1,100 to $600 and referred to that as “helping us out,” but we don’t feel that was the case. The wire they installed was inexpensive and not the ½-inch or smaller mesh we clearly requested multiple times. We paid over $8,000 for the front fence, and important details were mishandled. They threw away my house numbers after removing them from the old fence, despite me asking more than five times for them to be saved. They later tried to say I needed to provide my own. I also want to address the company’s response claiming that I was not a customer. That is simply not true. I paid for this job, which makes me a customer. I am also the power of attorney for the homeowner and handle his affairs. The homeowner is nearly 80 years old and never stated that he was “very happy,” as the company’s reply claims. Overall, communication has been poor, instructions were ignored, and the company’s response feels more like deflection than accountability.
