  I wanted to take the time and thank Derek and his crew for making my custom home ownership dream come true. From start to finish the process was easy and fast and with every step they made sure I was satisfied before moving forward. From meeting and going over appliances down to every accessory. If your in the market for a new home highly recommend Derek with Boom Hawaii. Couldn't be more satisfied.

  Derek and his crew did a great job on my home! He is quick to respond to questions and patient when the I asked for changes last minute. He completed the home promptly and did a beautiful job! Mahalo Derek!!!

  Derek K Kalai At M K Construction did an amazing job constructing my home in Keaau Hawaii with his late father. God rest his soul. I put an offer in on it within three hours of it going on the market. Then I went around and talked to the neighbors about the process of construction. They told me if there was a natural disaster, they would be headed to my house for safety because it was so well built. Having the opportunity to make this house my home was a blessing, and could not have come at a better time for me. After the sale, Derek always made an effort to promptly deal with any concerns I had about the house of which there were only a few. The quality and care of installation of all the amenities has been noticed by all of my guests. I want to give Derek my thanks, for having the commitment and the skills to build a house I’m always anxious to return to!
