A big shout out to Danielle & Todd. Danielle took my call immediately in advance of the biggest snow storm so far this season - our Kohler generator wasn't kicking over. Danielle was able to connect with Todd who happened to be on the road for a service call but in the vicinity. Todd stopped by within 30 minutes of my call - how often do you get service like that!? He immediately diagnosed the issue and had the generator running in less than 5 minutes with a software update. Todd knows his way around an engine and is very experienced with Kohler equipment. Todd Smith patiently answered all of my many questions in detail, and helped me to stay within my budget and to decide on the appropriate size generator and complete system for my home and my needs. Todd and his assistant Danielle are able to monitor the system online 24/7 so if a problem occurs they will immediately contact me and send a technician out to assess and resolve it. The generator kicks on once a week for a 15 minute run which they monitor as well. I wholeheartedly recommend Bartholomew Electric for generator installation. Would flash on, then off, or stay on very dim. This happened as I was going to bed. Called Bartholomew at 9am the next day. They got an electrician out here that afternoon! Kate was very knowledgeable and friendly. She took the fixture off to check the connections and all were good. Checked the switch and it was faulty. She replaced both switches (one for exhaust fan) and also looked at the fan that was making noise. Took down the fan and cleaned out all the buildup and also fixed the light in it that wasn't working. Gave me a rough estimate of cost to replace the one on its last leg. Will call them back to get a new one.
