Sam, our electrician, was an excellent commutator, and quickly identified/addressed the "issue." By issue I mean "mouse that fried itself chewing through wires on an outdoor fixture." The guy came and replaced the outlet and said it was fixed. A couple of nights ago the lights did the same thing and went out. We called them and told them we didnt think we should be charged for another service visit and the problem had returned. Today they came and spent 5 hours in my house. The guy had no idea what was wrong. When we got home we noticed that 2 of the outlets in the kitchen are now not working but he did fix the outlets in the bedroom. Checked all the GFI's and reset all breakers in the house. Still, the kitchen outlets are now busted. We got the bill - 968.00 - 15 dollars in parts - 900 bucks in labor and it states on the bill that it was a lose wire. 900 bucks to fix a lose wire? Steve, (im assuming the owner) called and I explained to him that this was a follow up call and Im not paying that much to fix a lose wire. He flipped out on me and started swearing - stated he would put a lien on my house etc. Absolutely horrible. We now have more broken outlets from his tech and a huge bill. Update: After reading further reviews on this guy it looks like his deceptive practices go way back. He has made the same threats to other people and there are complaints of massive over charging and faulty work. He is also claiming BBB accreditation when he is not BBB accredited. I reported this to the federal trade commission.
