I had a different contractor come out and give an idea of what he thought was wrong with it, said he probably wouldn’t be able to get parts for it, but would sell me a new furnace (great, but there has to be more options, right?). Then I called Anderson Aire for a second opinion, Steve came out and not 10 minutes later had my furnace working and the problem pin pointed, replacement parts not available (old, obsolete..typical..) however Steve had the knowledge to use 2 new parts off his truck that did the same thing as the obsolete part. So, now my 40 year old furnace has a new life for a fraction of the cost of a new one. Oh and I got a fridge magnet so I remember who to call next time I have HVAC issues. I called Steve at Andersen Aire and he was out to take a look at it in less than an hour! Our cabin is very old and not very nice, but it’s clean and it works for me and my young family. The furnace is probably 40 years old. Steve replaced a part that he had in his truck and cleaned it up and we were back in business! Bill was reasonable at a couple hundred bucks. It’s nice to work with honest hard working people like Steve. So many other companies out there probably would have told me I needed a new furnace. In a few years when I decide to build our forever cabin on this property, I know who will be doing my H-Vac. Finally, one place called back and said he was 2 weeks out but recommended Steve Anderson of Anderson Aire. We called and left a message and he called back pretty quickly. He came to the house and confirmed what we suspected as needing a new furnace seeing as ours was 31 years old. He did a temporary fix until he could order a new furnace and install it.
