Yesterday on Thanksgiving Eve, Mr. Buss, made time to come to my house on short notice after he had already finished a full day’s work. In just an hour, he replaced a splash guard, a drain basket, and a soap dispenser in my kitchen sink. He then recovered a contact lens that had fallen into the overflow drain of my lavatory. This contact lens had been missing for most of this year! My wife and I still fondly remember Mr. Ed Buss replacing our home heating and hot water system in 2019 after a corroded water tank flooded our basement. That was a complex and arduous endeavor (see photo), which Ed finished just as Thanksgiving Day and winter approached. He correctly diagnosed what the likely cause of each of my two issues was and gave me a quote of what it would cost to fix. In my case, a poorly installed garbage disposal with an ill-fitted gasket, and a burst pipe between the back faucet and the waterline in the basement. Spot on evaluation, excellent work, and he rightly called out how much time it would likely take before he started. He even let me watch a great deal of his work - hopefully I wasn't a bother - which was very educational. His years of experience and expertise were never in doubt. Despite the cost and hassle of needing plumbing repair, it was a pleasure doing business with Ed and Always Plumbing & Heating.
