When our gas water heater sprung a leak, I did a bit of research and learned about heat pump water heaters. I reached out to several places for a quote, and was extremely pleased when AEC got back to me within two hours! The quote process was painless, all I had to do was email in some photos. They were extremely knowledgeable about the various rebates, tax incentives, and bill credits through SFPUC, and they included them all on the quote so I could see just how much we qualified for. The overall cost was even cheaper than what we were quoted to replace it with a new gas water heater! When it came time for installation, their whole team was awesome. Efficient, friendly, and clean! They had to run some new electrical wiring to the heat pump water heater and they did it along the ceiling where it is not an eyesore. They also took the time to route the water drip pipe out into my back garden where it is currently making my plant very happy! After the install they showed us how everything works and helped us set up an app to enroll in our utility demand response program, which would help us qualify for incentives. Their team was very educational and very communicative at every step of the process.
