Our furnace went out last night around 7 PM and they were able to get a technician to us within the hour. Spencer is one of the most knowledgeable technicians I have ever worked with and I actually learned a ton from him about my own furnace. The woman that I spoke to on the phone to get everything settled with my account and the appointment was extremely helpful and appreciated her quick no nonsense approach to just getting the job done. We even received a, "Thank you" gift basket of goodies along with a gift card from a local meat and sausage company for our services. He and an assistant were efficient, and the installation and clean-up took less than an hour. They gave me a brief explanation of the settings as well as how best to maintain the unit annually. From my call to get an estimate through to completion, I'm happy with the overall experience, and everyone I encountered was professional and a pleasure to work with. - 1/5 — Anonymous Albiero almost cost me $10,000! A couple days before Thanksgiving my furnace stopped working. Albiero installed the furnace in 2018 (before I owned the house) so I called them to take a look. The lady who answered the phone was polite and a tech came out promptly. The tech, Jason, diagnosed the issue as a "clogged heat exchanger" and quoted $2,800 to repair but stated in his "professional opinion" it was better to just replace the whole unit. I was charged $83.35 for this diagnostic work. Bob Lemay came out the following day and provided three quotes of around $10,000 to replace. Bob wanted to get half of the payment that day. I was skeptical. I declined and had a second company come out to look at the furnace and they found a dead squirrel blocking the exhaust pipe. The other company removed the squirrel and fixed the issue for $400. The other company observed NOTHING wrong with the heat exchanger or the rest of the furnace! After relaying this information to Bob, I still got a call a few days later from Paul trying to inquire about me buying a new furnace! Albiero conducted poor diagnostic work and pushed for an unnecessary furnace replacement. It would seem like Albiero is only in the business of selling unnecessary furnaces for quick profit.
