Previous owners of our home had converted the garage to a large living space but had not addressed the heating and cooling, creating a nice big room that was cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The aged HVAC system rattled, roared, leaked and wheezed. We asked Charles at Air Butler about updating the HVAC system and he checked out the house to see where improvements could be made. He offered us several options with a proposal that was very detailed, and he patiently answered all our questions. They scheduled the work for the following week, showed up right on schedule, and worked diligently and expertly. Our new HVAC system, furnace and air conditioner, is blessedly quiet, and now that room is the same temperature as the rest of the house. Air Butler has the best communication of any trade we've worked with in the past 8 years. They answered their phone or promptly return calls. They used email and texting to keep us up to date and share information. From Sandy, who was very friendly and eager to work out the best schedule for us and even replied to our after hour communications. She is very capable and wanting the best outcome for a very uncomfortable situation. (Living in a cold house.) The guys were knowlegeable and took the time to make sure we were comfortable with what was required to replace our old furnace. Replacing our old furnace was not easy in that they had to work in a crawl space about four to five feet tall. They were very respectful and friendly. Spent over $50k with these people and they decided it was ok to charge me for a "late charge" because I had to cancel a service call because my power went out. Do you think I can back charge Rocky Mountain Power for that? NOT. What type of company charges an excellent paying customer in this circumstance. I am self employed and would never even consider doing this. Their $50k worth of work wasn't the greatest either. Would not recommend and no worries their response below won't change my mind. This is just something to make you think they "care" about customers when they don't. DO NOT USE.
