Horrible experience!! Had to clean up behind them after they left. Did NOT have the required equipment to complete the repair. Suggested we call another plumbing company to complete the repair and clean up the mess and still charged an ridiculous bill. Today's service was the proactive replacement of a water heater that was functional but considerably beyond its life expectancy. My only minor "issue" is that the model installed had slightly lower BTU, GPH Recovery, and Uniform Energy Factor than the one initially quoted. Additionally, the manufacturer's web site says the quoted unit has an eight year warranty whereas the one installed has a six year warranty. Still, I'm quite satisfied and will make Ace my first call going forward. - 1/5 — Anonymous Came to our lake house twice to fix an issue with shower going hot and cold and the issue was not rectified either time, yet we were charged approx $800 for each visit (including “trip charge”). We were slow to pay the second time because we were asking them to come back and fix the issue and we got chastised by the lady calling to collect with threats that “trust me, you dont want to owner to get involved” inferring that he was not going to be pleasant to deal with. We actually asked for the owner to call but all we got was were threats to be sent to bad debt collection so we gave up and just paid the bill. Now we’ve spent $1600 with Ace, who cares nothing about making sure our issue was resolved but just collecting their fees and we still haven’t gotten our problem fixed.
