ABC Austin Service Express was recommended to us. I called late, after 9PM and received a text back within minutes. The weather was pleasant, so we didn’t need our HVAC that night. Omar called me first thing the next morning, and had a technician in my home by noon. After troubleshooting, a problem was found with the unit inside my house. Omar gave a fair estimate to repair the problem but, after weighing that cost with the age of the unit, we thought it would be best to replace it. The estimate for replacing the unit was fair, and we decided to move forward. In order to maximize time, being as efficient as possible, they suggested removing the old unit immediately and preparing my furnace closet for the new installation. The new furnace would be available to pick up first thing the next morning. Removal of the old unit was quick and the technicians took great care in protecting the floor and cleaning up after themselves. Two technicians arrived with the new unit just before 9:00AM the following morning and started installation. I was impressed, not only by the installation of the furnace itself, but in the attention to detail paid to the entire closet, finishing the entire floor with a protective coat of sealant. They tested both the heat and AC and, when they left, there was no sign of them being there, removing all trash and vacuuming any mess that was made. As a stroke of bad luck, the unit stopped working shortly after they left. I texted Omar, who immediately responded and personally returned. It was thought that the fuse shipped with the new furnace was weak, as it had blown. They tested to make sure there were no installation issues, replaced the fuse, and tested the system. It’s been about a month, alternating AC and heat and everything is working flawlessly. I’d definitely recommend Omar and the guys at ABC Austin Express Service.
