American Minuteman Sewer & Drain

My condo management and myself has been using minute men in rockland for over 25 years. They are the best. I use Walter and bon aire condos use Walter in minute men. Rockland cty. I live in a house with cranky old pipes and have had to call American Minuteman more than once. They are always prompt efficient, and courteous and clear up the backed-up drain very quickly. But I have to really give them kudos for going above and beyond the call of duty the last time they were here. At the end of May, the main drain to my septic tank got clogged, and sewage was backing up into my downstairs shower stall whenever the tub upstairs was being used. American Minuteman showed up swiftly, and unhesitatingly tackled the big job of removing the toilet in the downstairs bathroom so they could snake the main with a device that looked like a satellite dish on wheels - that's how big it was. I didn't notice till some time after the job was finished that there was now a hairline crack in the toilet bowl that must have happened in the process - I thought it was literally just a hair. I was going to call and report the problem and ask whether anything could be done almost three months after the incident, when lo and behold, the issue recurred and once again my septic started backing up into my shower stall. I was beside myself. But not only did American Minuteman honor their warranty - which was within a week of expiring - and clear out the drain again at no charge, they also came back again the next day and installed the new toilet I had purchased to replace the damaged one I'd shown them, and they did not charge me anything for the two hour job of installing it, either. On a Sunday, yet. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to be dealing with a company that honors its word, and can't recommend Santos and his cousin Xavier, the workmen who did the job, highly enough!

We were referred to American Minutemen by a plumber after we reached out regarding our tub not draining. I called the main line and was able to get an appointment on the same day! Anthony came and cleared the tub drain but found there was a larger issue with the main line being clogged. He was able to come back the very next day, with the equipment he needed, to clear the drain. Anthony was kind, professional, and super transparent. Him and the woman who did the scheduling for us (my apologies for not getting her name) were wonderful to work with. While it was a little more than we expected to spend since we had not been anticipating the larger issue, I still found their rate to be perfectly reasonable given the amount of work and outcome. If we ever have issues in the future, I will not hesitate to reach back out to Minutemen!
