I found Nick through Efficiency Vermont and couldn't be happier. He came out to look and measure to recommend a unit. He was patient with the whole process of a home energy loan. Any paperwork we needed he was helpful to provide information and signature so that process went quite quick too. From the day we paid deposit to the day we had a running mini-split was 5 days. We were very happy with the two subcontractors he choose for the cement pad and the electrical hook-up; professional, personable and friendly. Those things are important when workman are in your home. Nick's install showed skill, attention to detail and professionalism in every aspect. He took time to show us the interface and ensured we were comfortable with the workings. He set us up with a Samsung unit as we allowed his experience to make those decisions. He explained why he preferred them and how they were better. Nick answered every and any questions we had. From his personal demeanor to his professional experience to his willingness to see the project from start to finish; Nick made a satisfied customer and a fan. Anyone in the area (Rutland county and surrounding) would be well served to call this business for your HVAC needs.

I can't say good enough things about Nick and Ambient Air Solutions of VT. I tried 3 different mini split contractors that didn't give me any good direction or honest opinions on how to navigate my tricky layout. Oh, and the cost! Yikes. Luckily I found him though my contractor who uses him for every job. He is a Samsung specialist, which got me a 10 year+ product & labor warranty. But he can install any system, but I wanted the Samsung Max Heat Windfree 2.0. It has awesome wi-fi built in and love the windfree option so that the air isn't blowing right on you. And this compressor unit is so quiet! Its rated around -13 below for heat. And it doesn't look cheap. He is very thorough, professional, responsible, trust worthy and super clean! I can not tell you how tricky the navigation was. He laid the lines so perfect and they look very smooth and natural even around my radon pipe. I was not excited about the look of having the line sets outside of my house. He gave me so many options and what the repercussions where of those choices. He took care of pouring the pad, electrical and I didn't have to do anything. I was not there a lot and he sent me photos, text and did video chats before he made his next move to make sure I'd approve. I am very particular!! He knows his business and double checks things and if needed discusses with the manufactures head rep. He is also listed on the Vermont Energy Efficiency site as a contractor if you are looking for rebates or a loan. I wish more tradesmen in VT had his attention to detail and quick response. He obviously takes pride in his work. I had him install 4 head units off one big compressor in a tricky area and also just had him put in another single unit. I plan on having him service my units for their lifetime. I have lots of respect for Ambient Air solutions of Vermont. I appreciate what he has done in making our home exceptionally comfortable while maintaining its aesthetic look at an affordable price.

**I don't typically leave reviews but this was a must!** I was experiencing low output from my unit and it was completely inefficient at heating and cooling the space it was designed to cover. This caused my energy bill to sky rocket due to the unit over working itself. I called Nick and was surprised and thankful when he was able to come out to my home on the same day (not an emergency visit/extra cost) especially during a heat wave and right after a holiday weekend. He arrived on time, was friendly, wonderful at answering questions and looking into other concerns that I had. He also taught me how to utilize my unit more efficiently for the layout of my space. I was working from home while he was here, he was quiet while doing his work, and thoroughly cleaned up his working space when finished. He was calm, not in a rush, was not annoyed in answering my several questions/inquiries, gave detailed responses, was quiet and respectable of my space, etc. **I would pay double the rate for this quality of service any time.** I will be recommending him to my neighbors and anyone else needing heating/cooling air pump assistance!
