Altrol Heating, Cooling, & Plumbing

Jeff came out to my house to replace my bathroom hydrotherm baseboard. During the work I mentioned I like to learn, so while Jeff was working he taught me everything he was doing. New baseboard is in, looks great, no leaks, Jeff gave me some suggestions for my boiler that I'll pursue with Altrol. Great job, thanks Jeff for you taking the time to do a little teaching as you worked.

I had an issue with a clogged fuel line for my hydronic heater system. When they arrive, the technicians did attempt to fix the issue, but ultimately the damage was too severe for a simple repair and the whole fuel tank would need to be replaced. One of the technicians suggested that they could install a temporary system until spring, when I could actually install a permanent tank outside. In fact, they suggested it was possible it could be done that day! Credit where credit is due, the technicians were polite and professional. I have no complaints with their work. However, I did feel that the price I paid for ultimately no resolution was rather steep. Ultimately, this is secondary to Altrol's main issue, extremely poor customer service. I tried calling Altrol several times to schedule a follow-up to get this temporary system installed and I was simply ignored. I left a message with all of my relevant contact info and what I wanted to schedule with them, and even now I still haven't received a response. If they are so desperate to not have my business, then so be it. I will never spend another red cent here for leaving me with a freezing house without any plan to address the issue or any follow-up of any kind. If you value your money and sanity, these guys are not worth dealing with.

Good day Fairbanks. Today was awesome.Jeff, and Andrew came and installed a new furnace in my apartment. They are so professional so courteous so respectful they got their job job done before the end of the day. They started at 9:30. We’re done at 2 o’clock this afternoon. It was incredible. Thank you so much for all the service you provide for our community.
