Almost a week in after service, the drain has been incredibly slow, and now it is right back where we started. Photos showing no drainage. Edit: A manager called, and we talked about the service, seemed sincere and apologized that the service was not up to standards. Customer service, reaching out for feedback is appreciated . Service Date: 1/9/26: I used AA in the past so figured they did a decent job last time, might as well continue with them. My kitchen sink stopped draining. That was the only issue in the house. Upstairs, downstairs bathrooms showers/sinks and toilets drained fine. They were unable to get up my hill due to weather, so the tech came back in a 4x4 instead of his work van. He told me that he had to leave his 85ft snake in the van, but the 50' should do it. When he started to work, I was told to snake the pipe it was going to be $500. Fine, I need my kitchen back. The snake that he brought was 50 feet, and he ran it all the way, as far as it would go. When he ran water after the snake, the kitchen drained fine, however, it started backing up in the downstairs sink. At that point, the tech let me know that he would now have to snake downstairs and that would be another $500.00. I thought this was a little high, since all that happened was he pushed whatever was blocking the kitchen farther down the pipe, so now it is blocking the downstairs sink. The tech recommended that I call the office and talk about my frustration, and I did. The office said they could do the second snake for $200, but made it seem like they were really going out of the way for me. Well, I need my drains to work, so I signed, and the tech got to work. He had to snake out about 10 feet or less to break up the clog, which means if he would have had the proper snake (85') it might only have taken one snake, right? Well, 2 days later and my kitchen sink is extremely slow to drain.
Every time I’ve interacted with All American, they have been incredibly professional. I’m actually surprised at their procedures and how professional they are. They notify you when they’re heading out to your house. They take photos and show you what’s happening before and after they’ve serviced your equipment. Every tech I’ve ever interacted with has been super nice and super knowledgeable. They seem to always have what they need in the truck or someone to consult if they’re not sure and they give you options that fit with your budget. I’m always impressed with this company and their employees. I also get the impression that it’s a good place to work based on how all the employees talk about their boss or the company in general. Knowing that they have a city league volleyball team makes me feel good about supporting this company that seems to care about its clients and employees.
Matt and John came to my house to try and restore function to my plumbing system when I was in an emergency situation; they had already put in a full day's work, and must have been tired, but they worked hard, were polite and efficient, answered all my questions patiently, and were a pleasure to meet. They explained the problem, advised how to proceed, and helped me make a plan for when and how the work could be completed. Thanks for making time for me in this crazy busy week!
